The idea for PurePriceIO was born during the COVID-19 pandemic, a time when fuel prices in India were rising sharply and fluctuating daily. Each visit to the gas station revealed a different price, prompting me to search the internet for an automated solution to track fuel prices.
As a software professional, I naturally looked for APIs that could provide this data. However, I quickly discovered that no affordable or comprehensive solution existed. Determined to solve this problem, I decided to create a tool myself—this is how PurePriceIO came to life.
Initially, I developed a bot that connected to my API to fetch fuel prices for my city, delivering the information conveniently. The tool saved me time and effort, and I realized its potential for broader applications. It could power mobile apps, WhatsApp bots, web applications, and more.
